The Montreal Canadiens released their list of training camp participants, with 61 players reporting to Brossard on Thursday for medicals.
The first on-ice workouts will take place on Friday.
It will be the first chance to see many new players, including several dark horse players who can shake up the depth chart including NHL rookie Jakub Jerabek and NHL veterans Ales Hemsky and Eric Gelinas.
Of the group of players, xx players carry over from the rookie camp including Noah Juulsen and Martin Reway, while the remainder were released back to their junior teams yesterday, including Will Bitten, Michael Pezzetta, Josh Brook, Cale Fleury, Scott Walford, Jarret Tyszka while tryout Alexandre Alain was released.
