We’re going back to talking about practice as the Montreal Canadiens took to the ice at Rogers Arena. Shea Weber was missing again which has been a trend for the last couple of weeks. Claude Julien mentioned earlier that getting him back to 100% is one of the reasons for all the maintenance days for Weber, but it makes you wonder whether giving him a break from a game or two would have a better effect.
The forward lines saw Max Pacioretty back on the top line with Jonathan Drouin with Paul Byron remaining on right wing.
