The Montreal Canadiens have signed Lukas Vejdemo to a one-year contract extension. The Swedish centre has been a staple with the Laval Rocket over the past couple of years, and even scored the final goal of the regular season in 2020, just before the COVID pause.
Vejdemo was drafted in the third round as an over-ager in 2015. While he started out in the SHL, he has taken further steps with the Laval Rocket under the tutelage of Joël Bouchard.
