Les Canadiennes season review: Kim Deschênes

You could see signs near the end of last season that Kim Deschênes was getting much better as she approached the end of her rookie season.

I don’t think anyone expected what ended up happening this year.

In fact, the only sophomore slump that Deschênes could be accused of going through was the five games she did not register a point. Yes, that’s right. Five of 24 games.

She started the year on the second line with Noémie Marin, with whom she had tons of success in the second half of last year.
