Les Canadiennes head coach Dany Brunet resigns; Caroline Ouellette to take over on interim basis

Les Canadiennes announce that head coach Dany Brunet has resigned from the team for personal reasons. Former star player Caroline Ouellette, recently retired, will take over coaching duties on an interim basis.

Brunet took the coaching duties of the team in 2013-14, when they were named the Montreal Stars, and went on to be the winningest coach in CWHL history. He was at the helm for the Fabs’ Clarkson Cup win in 2017.

Caroline Ouellette exited the game as one of the top scorers in league history, and has been involved in coaching for several years, including taking a girls team on a surprising run through the Quebec PeeWee Tournament.
