Les Canadiennes announce 2018-19 selection camp roster

Les Canadiennes will look to get back to the top of the CWHL this season and the year begins with the team’s annual selection camp. The roster for the camp was announced today. The camp will start September 20.

The biggest names on the roster are the returning Olympians, most of whom took last year off from the CWHL. Marie-Philip Poulin, Mélodie Daoust, Jillian Saulnier, and Geneviève Lacasse join Hilary Knight and Lauriane Rougeau on the roster.

It will be the first official activity for Saulnier and Lacasse with the Canadiennes. Daoust did previously play two games for the Montreal Stars in 2010-11 before attending McGill University but it will be her first action with the team after being their first-round pick in 2017.
