Tomas Tatar barely played in the third period of Saturday’s game, and afterward we learned that not only was he out with a lower-body injury, but had been suffering through it going into the contest.

Already down Brendan Gallagher, Tatar’s loss would be another big one for the team if he’s unable to go on Monday night. Tatar had most recently had a two-assist game to help Montreal get past Edmonton on Monday, getting him up to 29 points on the season.
