Habs Legend Richard Battling Alzheimer’s Disease

It’s a sad day for Canadiens fans everywhere as we have learned that 11 time Stanley Cup champion, Henri Richard (79) is battling Alzheimer’s disease via Puck Daddy.

This report came during coverage of the Hector “Toe” Blake Alzheimer Celebrity Golf Tournament. “Toe,” who was also a Montreal legend, suffered from Alzheimer’s which led to his death on May 17th, 1995. According to an article from Le Journal de Quebec, Richard’s condition has worsened.
