The Canadiens lose 4-2 in Toronto on the final night of the season for the boys, and we can only hope that next year will see a vast improvement. It can’t get any worse, I think.
On this day, after what happened to the Humboldt Broncos team, I find no enthusiasm to say much of anything about the Habs in this game or the season. Maybe they’ll land some dandy players in the draft. Maybe they’ll get a true centreman. Maybe they’ll win the Cup next year!
I’ll be cheering for the Winnipeg Jets in the playoffs, and I’ll continue to post throughout the summer, although it might not be every day like I’ve been doing.
