The Laval Rocket entered last week on a roll, having won three of their last four, and rookie Head Coach Joel Bouchard hoped his young squad had finally found its stride after an erratic, roller-coaster start to the 2018-19 AHL season, Bouchard’s first as a pro.
The week started off on a positive note, with a 6-2 man-handling of the Marlies, but was then followed up with a tough home ice loss to Bridgeport Friday, before ending with a disappointing road defeat on Saturday to Syracuse, a game in which the Rocket blew a comfortable mid-game lead.
