Blandisi will make $700,000 in the NHL or $350,000 if sent to the Laval Rocket. He will require waivers to be sent down.

The Canadiens acquired the 26-year-old last season with Jake Lucchini in a deal that sent Riley Barber and Phil Varone to Pittsburgh.
