The Montreal Canadiens delivered a stinker for their home crowd on Monday night — a 4-0 shutout loss to the Seattle Kraken. They looked to be sleepwalking for the first 20 minutes of the game, and though things got a little better in the next 40, they still weren’t giving their fans much to cheer about. It was quite hard to try and come up with something positive to write about that effort.
But I did notice that at the very least, the team showed like they cared that they weren’t performing well.
This fire was, in my opinion, what was missing from this team last season when things got tough.
