As a freshman with Robert Morris University in 2018-19, Addamo quickly established himself, playing in 39 of the team’s 40 games. He had the third-most shots for the team and was tied for fourth in goals. He scored the winning goal in overtime in the NCAA Atlantic Conference Quarter-finals to send Robert Morris to a league record sixth consecutive semifinal berth.
