Zabit addresses conditioning criticisms: ‘Entertainment in battle or simple victory without risk?’

Dagestan’s Zabit Magomedsharipov is considered as one of the top rising prospects in the UFC featherweight division. Currently ranked number four at 145 pounds, he has so far racked up a 6-0 record in the UFC.

Zabit’s most recent win came at UFC Moscow in early November, where he defeated Calvin Kattar via unanimous decision in a three-round headliner fight. While he did win $50,000 for Fight of the Night, many observers see conditioning as one of his major weaknesses.

The 28-year-old fighter recently addressed these criticisms via an Instagram post.

Many criticize my endurance without thinking about how much energy a non-standard work in a battle can take.
