Miesha Tate got a hard reality check from Dana White.
A former UFC women’s bantamweight champion, Tate is often regarded as one of MMA’s top female fighters. Unfortunately, much of her success was overshadowed by Ronda Rousey.
First crossing paths under the Strikeforce banner in 2012, Tate and Rousey took the Octagon by storm a year later, running it back at UFC 168. At the time, it was the biggest women’s fight in UFC history, and her subsequent title victory over Holly Holm four years later left Tate wanting a bigger piece of the pie.
