The life of a WWE wrestler isn’t easy. Being in the public eye can bring out all sorts of potential danger, and in the case of Sonya Deville, it led to an attempted kidnapping.
Deville (real name Daria Berenato), a former amateur MMA fighter that went 2-1 in a brief career, was apparently at home with a guest when Philip Thomas II tried to break in with the intent of taking Deville hostage. Here’s what the Tampa Bay Times had to say about the incident:
“Thomas cut a hole in the patio screen and remained on the patio three to four hours while watching and listening through the windows.
