There’s been a last-minute switch to Saturday night’s UFC Vegas 5 event.
Multiple people with knowledge of the promotion’s plans confirmed to MMA Fighting that Timur Valiev has been forced to withdraw from his octagon debut against Jamall Emmers. Stepping in on short notice will be another UFC debutante in Vince Cachero.

Emmers makes his second octagon appearance after facing Giga Chikadze on short notice at UFC 248. “Pretty Boy” dropped a split decision to Chikadze to snap a four-fight winning streak.
