This weekend’s card has lost a fight, but next weekend’s card has picked one up.
Multiple sources confirmed to MMA Fighting that Karol Rosa is out of her scheduled fight with Sijara Eubanks at UFC Vegas 9 this Saturday. Eubanks will not remain on the card and will instead face Julia Avila at the UFC’s Sept. 12 event in Las Vegas.
Per sources, the reason for Rosa’s withdrawal was due to weight cutting issues. She was hospitalized Thursday afternoon.
Eubanks, who was originally scheduled to face Macy Chiasson at the event, is an alum of The Ultimate Fighter 26 with wins over Lauren Murphy and Roxanne Modafferi in her first pair of UFC bouts.
