A welterweight showdown between Warlley Alves and Christian Aguilera was added to the first UFC card of 2021, multiple people with knowledge of the booking told MMA Fighting.
The UFC Fight Night show will go down Jan. 16 and feature Max Holloway vs. Calvin Kattar in the main event. The company has yet to officially announce if it will take place in Las Vegas or at Abu Dhabi’s Fight Island.
Alves (13-4) looks to get back on track after a second-round defeat to Randy Brown in November 2019.
