UFC heavyweight Walt Harris has decided to drop out of his upcoming fight against Alistair Overeem in the main event at UFC on ESPN 7 from Washington D.C. on Dec. 7.
The decision comes just over a week after Harris’ stepdaughter Aniah Blanchard went missing near Auburn, Ala., with authorities still searching for answers regarding her whereabouts.
Sources close to the situation confirmed the news to MMA Fighting on Friday with Harris opting to focus on his family at this time.
