A bunch of UFC fighters competed outside of mixed martial arts recently, including a no gi grappling match between Mike Perry and Al Iaquinta at Chael Sonnen’s Submission Underground 11.
The pair of UFC fighters didn’t have a finish in regulation, so it went to overtime and the welterweight in Perry beat his lightweight foe via quickest submission escape. Watch the clip below:
Sonnen also tried to play UFC matchmaker and teased a possible real fight between the two competitors from different divisions. Iaquinta said he’d be willing to do so, but only if Perry was willing to drop to 155 lbs.
