Last night, during the UFC Fight Night 159 main event in Mexico City, the Mexico City Arena erupted into chaos after disgruntled fans threw bottles, cans and various other objects into the Octagon in protest of the No Contest (NC) result between Yair Rodriguez and Jeremy Stephens.
During all this, UFC commentator and announcer Brendan Fitzgerald took cover under his commentary desk but continued to call the action. Co-commentator Michael Bisping posted video footage of the incident on social media; check it out below.
The fight was ruled a NC after home favorite Rodriguez landed an accidental eye poke on Stephens just 15 seconds into the first round.
