The marquee fighters of UFC 223 are getting the star treatment in the latest round of promos for the April 7 pay-per-view.
Two glossy vignettes were released over the weekend, one showcasing strawweight champion Rose Namajunas and the other lightweight title challenger Khabib Nurmagomedov.
In the video for “Thug Rose”, the champ is seen showing off her piano skills and putting on a “symphony of violence” in the lead-up to her rematch with Joanna Jedrzejczyk, the woman she beat back at UFC 217 to claim the title:
For Nurmagomedov, his gaudy 25-0 record is on display in a clip that counts up to “Khabib Time”, which the Russian fighter hopes signals the start of his championship reign as he takes on rival Tony Ferguson:
