Paul Felder and Mike Perry put on one of the more entertaining tilts on Saturday’s UFC 226 card in Las Vegas and the consequences were clear as day. It was Felder who got the worst of it, suffering a gash by his right eye that bled profusely during the three-round bout. Not only that, he would go on to lose a unanimous decision.
It’s unlikely that Felder’s stock will be hurt too much by the loss given that he was competing at welterweight, a division up from his usual weight class, and was doing so because the UFC needed a replacement on short notice for an injured Yancy Medeiros.
