Conor McGregor has been ridiculed in a variety of ways since losing to Nate Diaz at UFC 196 this past March. Critics not only pinpointed McGregor's lack of conditioning and overzealous power punching as reasons why he ultimately lost via second-round submission, but they questioned his gameplanning leading into that fight.
While McGregor has allegedly never trained specifically for one opponent, he has taken the necessary steps to make sure he knows how to debunk Diaz in their rematch at UFC 202 on Aug. 20 from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. But despite his training camp changes leading up to the most important fight of his Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) career, the Irish superstar remains confident that movement expert Ido Portal can help him improve his footwork and balance for the reboot.
