It's been almost two years since Cain Velasquez set foot in the Octagon. The last time we saw the Mexican-American compete under the UFC banner was when he retained promotional gold at UFC 166 against Junior Dos Santos. The heavyweight champ was originally scheduled to defend his title against Fabricio Werdum at UFC 180, but a torn meniscus and a sprained MCL crushed Velasquez's hopes of a third title defense in November of last year.
