Video: Anderson Silva’s son Kalyl scores 11-second knockout in kickboxing debut

Kalyl Silva definitely has knockout power.

Son of former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva, Kalyl, 22, made his kickboxing debut at FightersRep 10, which took place over the weekend in California, and only needed one kick to stop Anthony Reynaga in a 159-pound match.

Silva, who also plays forward for the LA10 in the United Premier Soccer League, dropped Reynaga with a left high kick to the head just five seconds into the opening round, and the referee decided he had seen enough.

Watch the finish below.

Kalyl’s older brother Gabriel Silva, who was victorious in his first kickboxing matches in 2019 and 2020 to win the FightersRep middleweight title, was expected to face Kristian Acevedo on the same card, but the bout was pulled from the lineup due to undisclosed reasons.
