NEW YORK — So much for “toughest test in years.” Valentina Shevchenko reminded everyone why she’s one of the greatest fighters in women’s MMA history on Saturday night, turning a highly anticipated superfight into a one-sided masterclass. Over five dominant rounds at UFC 322 inside Madison Square Garden, Shevchenko (26-4-1 MMA, 15-3-1 UFC) shut down Zhang Weili (26-4 MMA, 10-3 UFC) and cruised to a unanimous decision victory to retain her flyweight title. Scores weren’t needed to know the result this was all Shevchenko.
