The U.S. House of Representatives Energy and Commerce committee will discuss the state of mixed martial arts Thursday, beginning at 10:30 a.m. ET. Among the witnesses speaking will be UFC Hall of Famer Randy Couture and UFC vice president of athlete health and performance Jeff Novitzky.
Topics will be health and safety and the Ali Act extension to MMA, among others.
