The exciting bantamweight will take on the always popular Urijah Faber in a rematch at UFC 203 on Sept. 10 in Cleveland, it was announced Tuesday during the UFC Fight Night: McDonald vs. Lineker weigh-in show on FS2.
The two men met at UFC 181 in 2014 with Faber winning by second-round submission. The finish came right after Faber accidentally poked Rivera in the eye. Rivera challenged the referee missing the eye poke with the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC), but the commission ruled that it didn't have the authority to overturn a referee's judgment call.
