A pair of middleweights on four-fight win streaks are expected to fight at UFC 265.
People with knowledge of the UFC’s plans told MMA Fighting that the promotion is finalizing a fight between Uriah Hall (17-9) and Sean Strickland (23-3) at the upcoming Aug. 7 pay-per-view, which does not yet have an official venue. The fight was first reported by ESPN.
Hall has been on a tear in his past four outings, picking up victories over former UFC champions Chris Weidman and Anderson Silva, the former by a gruesome leg injury caused by a checked leg kick that ended the fight in just 17 seconds.
