Colby Covington believes the UFC will book a rematch with Kamaru Usman on Dana White’s Fight Island, according to a recent interview with ESPN.
Covington suffered a fifth-round TKO loss to Usman at UFC 245, but ‘Chaos’ believes referee Marc Goddard issued a ‘fake stoppage’, slamming the Brit for robbing the fans of a fair fight.
With Usman vs. Masvidal seemingly dead in the water, Covington is hoping to rematch ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ during International Fight Week in July, promising to ‘throw his dead body to the sharks’.
