Recent UFC signee Bilyal Makhov won dual bronze medals in Freestyle and Greco-Roman at the world championships in Lax Vegas. He became the first person in 42 years to medal in both disciplines at the same event.

Makhov, also an Olympic bronze medalist in freestyle wrestling, plans to resume his preparation for MMA at K-Dojo Warrior Tribe now that he is finished at the Worlds.
