UFC’s Anderson dos Santos protests for gyms to re-open in Sao Paulo during COVID-19 pandemic

UFC bantamweight Anderson do Santos would like to be able to train like he used to before the coronavirus pandemic hit Brazil and forced businesses all over the country to close the doors while they wait out the danger of spreading the contamination even further.

Alongside a large group of other martial arts practitioners, Anderson protested on the streets of Sao Paulo for gyms to open their doors again. The biggest metropolis in Latin America, Sao Paulo is the city with by far the most cases of COVID-19 in the country, being responsible for 1,345 of Brazil’s 3,313 official deaths as of the writing of this piece.
