Former Ultimate Fighting Championships competitor Rodrigo Goiana de Lima is dead at 28 years old after an altercation with an Uber driver in Belem, Brazil, according to multiple reports.
According to Brazilian outlet UOL, de Lima was a passenger in the Uber with four other people when an argument ensued. The driver was reportedly irritated by the tone of one of the passengers and asked for silence. De Lima disapproved of the reaction and allegedly punched the driver.
After the group exited the vehicle and headed toward a gas station, the driver accelerated and ran over de Lima.
