Melvin Guillard went out on a high note.

The 22-time UFCveteran announced his retirement following a 27-second stoppage of Terry Wiggins at a Ragin’ Fighting Championship event in Lake Charles, Louisiana, this past Saturday. That snapped a 12-bout winless streak for “The Young Assassin.”

“It’s that time,” Guillard said in a post-fight interview. “I have well over 200 fights and it’s been a great run, but I’m ready to do something else.”
