After a dazzling performance featuring kicks and punches off the cage and a number of jumping knee attacks, the Brazilian got the job done with a rear naked choke late in the third and final round in his fight against Zelim Imadaev. The official stoppage came at 4:39 in round three.
“I came to give the show that I said I was going to give,” Pereira said. “I was ready for wherever that fight was going to go.
