The UFC was in a giving mood after Saturday’s show.
In addition to a Fight of the Night award, four Performance of the Night bonuses were also handed out at UFC Vegas 31 for a total of six bonus checks, which is two more than usual. Billy Quarantillo and Gabriel Benitez earned an extra $50,000 each for the Fight of the Night, while Miesha Tate, Mateusz Gamrot, Rodolfo Vieira, and Rodrigo Nascimento also received a five-figure bonus for finishing their fights.
Quarantillo put Benitez away in the third round of the main card opener, but not before the two featherweights fought a frantic fight that saw both score knockdowns.
