Chan Sung Jung got a much-needed bounceback win in the main event of this past Saturday’s UFC Vegas 29 event — but it may have come at a price.
“The Korean Zombie” earned a unanimous decision win over Dan Ige in a pivotal featherweight matchup at the UFC APEX. Jung returned in the win column after suffering a lopsided decision loss to the next title challenger, Brian Ortega, at October’s UFC Fight Island 6 event.
Although victorious, Jung found himself on the list of seven fighters who were issued potential six-month suspensions from the Nevada Athletic Commission, according to the list of medical suspensions acquired by mixedmartialarts.
