Nathan Maness and Luke Sanders began the UFC Vegas 15 card in an exciting way, but it was the former who ultimately got the job done after overcoming some early adversity.
The 140-pound catchweight bout took place at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas. After taking some big shots in the opening round, Maness was able to bounce back in the second round when he dropped Sanders with a vicious right hand.
“Mayhem” pounced on his opponent quickly, getting into full mount before taking Sanders’ back and quickly locking in a rear-naked choke which forced a tap at the 2:29 mark of the second round.
