The UFC Vancouver co-main event is in the books and the promotion’s #9 ranked light heavyweight, Glover Teixeira, took a tough split decision over the #13 Nikita Krylov. At 39 years of age, Teixeira is on a three-fight winning streak and mentioned he would like to fight in Brazil next, but didn’t have an opponent to name.
As far as the fight itself, Krylov came out working his kicks and piecing up his opponent, but that’s what led to Teixeira taking him down. Teixeira took the back and began to drop blows, but Krylov rolled into full mount.
