UFC Uruguay medical suspensions: Mike Perry, two others face 180-day terms

A trio of fighters received long medical suspensions following decision losses at UFC Uruguay, the Brazilian MMA Athletic Commission (CABMMA) announced on Monday.

According to CABMMA, which was in charge of Saturday night’s event in Montevideo, Mike Perry, Tecia Torres and Geraldo de Freitas were issued six-month medical suspensions following their defeats to Vicente Luque, Marina Rodriguez and Chris Gutierrez, respectively.

Perry underwent surgery hours after his bloody war with Luque to fix his broken nose and won’t come back to action any time soon.
