UFC strawweight Isamin Lucindo has been suspended after failing a drug test ahead of a Dec. 13 bout.
Lucindo has been suspended by both the Nevada State Athletic Commission and Combat Sports Anti-Doping — the UFC’s drug testing partner — after testing positive for mesterolone, an anabolic steroid which is typicially used to treat low testosterone and hypogonadism in men. Lucindo was scheduled to face Gillian Robertson at a UFC Fight Night event on Dec. 13 prior to the anti-doping violation, but the 23-year-old Brazilian has been pulled from that card.
