The welterweight fighter picked up a unanimous decision victory over longtime UFC contender Donald Cerrone in the main event of Saturday’s UFC Singapore event, which took place at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore.
Edwards dominated the action early in the fight. Following the second round, the bout with Cerrone became a little more competitive, but either way, it was enough for the Englishman to secure 48-47 scores on all three judges’ scorecards. Now unbeaten in his last six fights, Edwards called out Jorge Masvidal for a fight in his hometown of Birmingham.
