Former UFC women’s strawweight champion Jessica Andrade was blasted with criticism following her 42-second stoppage loss to Weili Zhang at UFC Fight Night 157, and the Brazilian has issued a response to her critics.
Andrade, 27, released the following lengthy statement on Instagram, where she promised to return to the Octagon stronger than ever and said she has nothing to be embarrassed about, citing several former champions who’ve suffered first-round knockout losses in the past.
