It wasn’t necessarily a banner ratings weekend for either the UFC or Bellator MMA, but both certainly have bigger, non-cable cards on the horizon.
According to ShowBuzz Daily, UFC Fight Night 137 attracted 607,000 viewers to Fox Sports 1 on Saturday night. The card took place at Ibirapuera Gymnasium in Sao Paulo and saw Thiago Santos earn a TKO win over Eryk Anders in the evening’s main event. The UFC Fight Night 137 prelims attracted an audience of 243,000 on FS2.
That ratings for the UFC Sao Paulo main card surpass figures from the last two televised events, UFC Fight Night 135 (596,000) and UFC Fight Night 134 (492,00).
