The UFC’s #12 ranked welterweight Leon Edwards just earned a solid decision win over the #4 ranked Rafael dos Anjos in the UFC San Antonio main event.
Edwards really let his hands go here, tagging up RDA on the feet. His most damaging blows may have been his elbows in the clinch, which sliced open the former lightweight champ in multiple places on his face. RDA landed a massive leg kick in the second round that buckled Edwards, but was unable to do much with the resulting top position. Edwards continued to thrive in all areas of the fight, stuffing takedowns and landing punches.
