The UFC’s former lightweight champ Rafael dos Anjos submitted welterweight newcomer Kevin Lee in the fourth round of the UFC Rochester main event.
The fight got started right away, with the fighters banging it out for the opening moments. Lee switched gears and started to grind away, spamming takedown attempts against the fence. RDA flipped the script and began to work his own takedown game. Come round four, RDA was winning the war of attrition, and a gassed Lee botched a takedown that set up the fight’s finishing sequence. RDA took top position, found the arm triangle, and got the tap.
