The UFC will be reverting to the previously used version of its MMA gloves for Saturday’s card in Madison Square Garden.
According to a report from Ariel Helwani, the UFC has informed all fighters that they would be using the old version of the UFC gloves rather than the 3Eight and 5Eight gloves the promotion began utilizing on June 1.
“UFC has informed the fighters competing on Saturday’s 309 card in NYC that they will be using the old gloves not the new ones introduced back in June, per multiple sources,” Helwani wrote on X.
