The UFC Ottawa main card is in-progress, and the company’s #9 ranked middleweight Derek Brunson just won a decision over the #13 ranked Elias Theodorou. The bout was rather underwhelming with very few ‘wow’ moments. The bout started strong, but fizzled out as it went along. The win snapped a two-fight losing skid for Brunson, and broke up a three-fight winning wave fro Theodorou.
Before that, Cub Swanson vs. Shane Burgos put on a rather entertaining bout. It was pretty much a high-level kickboxing bout, with a minor stretch of Swanson taking the fight into the grappling realm late in the fight.
